Balcony Balustrade

Balustrades will be constructed from satin finish Stainless steel 48 diameter grade 316 posts and top rails with 12mm thick toughened glass panels fixed to posts with proprietary brackets.

Protective System

All coatings are applied to industry standards and are for the corrosion protection of the steelwork / metalwork only, and are not intended to provide a decorative finish. Surface inconsistencies will not detract from the effectiveness of the applied coatings.

After fabrication all hot-rolled steelwork will be acid pickled and galvanised, applied to a nominal thickness of 85 microns, prior to delivery to site. Site bolts will be supplied in a zinc-plated finish.

Damage to galvanising caused by us during delivery and our site erection process, will be touched-up upon our practical completion of site erection, so that the integrity of the protective system is maintained.

Terrace and roof balustrade

Flat top and bottom horizontal rails with 12mm round vertical infill bars. Top rail formed from a

diameter 40mm beech. Wall rail formed from 40×8 Flat fixed back to wall with standard wall

roses and a top rail of 40mm beech to match balustrade.

80 linear metres of Terrace and roof balustrade, comprising of a first fix stub bracket fixed to

the existing 450mm high block wall then a stainless steel vertical post formed from Ø42x2mm

tube with 10mm clear glass infill panels and a continuous Ø42x2mm top rail. Price also

includes for a stainless steel cover disc to go over the capping to parapet
